Arianna Kennedy (she/her) is a Registered Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.Her primary area of expertise lies in Neurodiversity-Affirming Care for individuals under the neurodiversity umbrella, including those with ADHD, Autism, ASD, and related conditions. Arianna has worked directly with neurodivergent youth as well as caregivers supporting children with complex needs, and is highly knowledgeable in emotion regulation, sensory processing, and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) profiles within diverse populations.
Her additional competencies include supporting youth in care or with experiences in the child welfare system, facilitating end-of-life care and planning, and assisting individuals navigating grief and bereavement. Arianna’s practice primarily serves youth aged 12 and older, adults, and aging populations.
Arianna’s preferred therapeutic modalities are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), selected for their effectiveness within neurodiverse populations. She is also proficient in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal Therapy. Arianna has held roles in both private and public settings, including crisis intervention, psychoeducation, mental health promotion, child and family access, and caregiver support. She approaches her work with an understanding of each client’s multidimensional nature, tailoring her methods to align with individual circumstances, histories, and capacities.
Linda Shoebottom, B.A., RSW, is registered as a Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She offers therapy, consultation and advocacy services to children, youth and families.
Linda has over 27 years’ experience working with and advocating for children and families in Chatham-Kent. She has been involved in the care of children with a variety of exceptionalities, including those with challenging behaviours, developmental delays, mental health concerns and medical/genetic disorders. Additionally, Linda has offered extensive training and professional development workshops to other professionals within the community.
